Classifiers II: A Continuation of Using Classifiers
This video conference will be a continuation of last
year’s workshop on classifi ers. We will focus on
using classifi ers in more advanced settings. The
focus will be on the use of classifi ers in secondary
level classes in a variety of subject areas with an
emphasis on the sciences.
The set includes two DVD's and a CD containing a PDF file that must be printed prior to viewing.

The EIPA Diagnostic Center is excited to offer three video conference workshops
for the 2009-2010 academic year. The workshops are designed for interpreters
working in K-12 classroom settings, community interpreters, future interpreters,
K-12 interpreter mentors, deaf educators and individuals supervising or
working with interpreters. The workshops will be offered nationwide via
video conferencing technology to multiple sites.
This DVD is the second of 3 video conferences conducted by Boys Town National Research Hospital's Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Diagnostic Center.

Understanding the EIPA: Tips for Success for First Time and Repeat Test Takers
The EIPA Diagnostic Center is excited to offer three video conference workshops
for the 2009-2010 academic year. The workshops are designed for interpreters
working in K-12 classroom settings, community interpreters, future interpreters,
K-12 interpreter mentors, deaf educators and individuals supervising or
working with interpreters. The workshops will be offered nationwide via
video conferencing technology to multiple sites.
This video conference will offer individuals an opportunity
to familiarize themselves with the EIPA Performance
Assessment. We will cover all of the skills that are
measured in the Voice-to-Sign portion of the assessment
and discuss what constitutes an effective use of each skill.
This workshop will facilitate the test preparation process
and enable participants to undertake the assessment
with a higher degree of confi dence. The information will
allow individuals to prepare for a more successful testing
experience.
